In Chinese Spring Festival Gala, the song of Where Has the Time Gone became popular.

The words are so touching that when people listen to this song, many memories will come out.

For our parents’ generation, they married, raised the kids and then watched them become independent, how time flies.

It is just like that they became parents yesterday, and then they become grandparents today.

Time flies so fast that they don’t realize they are old. I am so thankful to my parents, for they do so many things for me.

I want to return their love, so I must become more independent and mature. So that my parents will be less worried about me and can go travel to enjoy their lives. For me, I want to cherish every moment, enjoy my own life and let the time go more slowly.

suppose someone gave you a pen-a sealed, solid-colored pen.

you couldnt see how much ink it had. it might run dry after the first few tentative words or last just long enough to create a masterpiece (or several) that would last forever and make a difference in the scheme of things. you don‘t know before you begin.

under the rules of the game, you really never know. you have to take a chance!

actually, no rule of the game states you must do anything. instead of picking up and using the pen, you could leave it on a shelf or in a drawer where it will dry up, unused.

but if you do decide to use it, what would you do with it? how would you play the game?

would you plan and plan before you ever wrote a word? would your plans be so etensive that you never even got to the writing?

or would you take the pen in hand, plunge right in and just do it, struggling to keep up with the twists and turns of the torrents of words that take you where they take you?

would you write cautiously and carefully, as if the pen might run dry the net moment, or would you pretend or believe (or pretend to believe) that the pen will write forever and proceed accordingly?

and of what would you write: of love? hate? fun? misery? life? death? nothing? everything?

would you write to please just yourself? or others? or yourself by writing for others?

would your strokes be tremblingly timid or brilliantly bold? fancy with a flourish or plain?

would you even write? once you have the pen, no rule says you have to write. would you sketch? scribble? doodle or draw?

would you stay in or on the lines, or see no lines at all, even if they were there? or are they?

theres a lot to think about here, isnt there?

now, suppose someone gave you a life...

We are supposed to express our gratitude to others on Thanksgiving Day. However, we should feel gratitude every day.

God has two dwellings, one in heaven, and the other in a meek and thankful heart. Be grateful to others is a way to show your love. In our daily life, we often receive help from our parents, friends, colleagues and strangers. Perhaps it is a little thing, pick up the pen you drop, lift a heavy box for you or offer you a seat in the bus. We should be thankful to them for whatever they have done.

The more love you give, the more love you receive.

When I was very small, my teachers told me to let my parents sign their names on my homework, so as to prove that they had assisted in doing my homework. Most schools have carried out this policy for a long time and now some people have doubted the necessity of parents’ signature. They believed that it is both parents and teachers’ duty to check the children’s homework, but the schools only leave this job to the parents. In my opinion, there is no need to sign the name, because there is no doubt that parents have the duty to help their children solve the problems, but some homework should be checked by the teachers, as they know how to better correct the students’ mistakes, then to better improve students’ ability. So the best way to help students get improved lies in both parents and teachers’ effort.

She always does a lot of housework, but sometimes she makes mistakes out of carelessness. For example, one day, she washed clothes in the washer, after the washer finished the work, she found she hadn't filled the washer with water. Now let me tell you a funny thing: one day, father wanted to get up early as usual, buthe wasn't able to do that, because he hadn't set the alarm clock the night before, so when he got up, he did everything in a hurry. After father left, mother said to me mysteriously, "He will come back soon." "Why?" I was greatly surprised. "Because today is Sunday, his holiday!" Just as mother said, father came back home soon, and went to bed again-

When we are very small, we dream to be the great person in the future, such as the scientist, the policeman and so on.

It is good for the children to own the big dream, so that they will study hard and fight for their future.

But the fact is that not all the person can become the great person, most people are doing the ordinary jobs.

In my opinion, ordinary is beautiful, too. Though they are not doing the fine jobs, they find their own place and make a contribution to the world.

  Take the cleaner for example.

They wake up early and do the cleaning work. People dare not to do the job because it is so dirty, but the cleaners decorate the city with their hard work. The cleaners are the ordinary people while doing the great job.
