最后我来到厨房，先把厨房里的东西整理一遍，再用抹布统统擦了一遍。看着整洁如新的厨房，我高兴地笑了。这时，我才感到背上不舒服，用手去挠。噢，原来不知不觉，已经出汗了，这汗水就像甘露一样滴进了我的心田，唤起我对于往日母亲忙碌的身影回忆的。我带着满身的疲惫，看着自己的劳动成果，我一屁股坐在凳子上。这时，我才清醒的'意识到妈妈做家务的艰辛。这时腰有些酸痛，想躺下。但我自己都不愿躺在刚收拾好的床上，怕毁坏自己的劳动成果。
下夜班的妈妈回来了，看到家里变得如此干净、整齐。先是一惊，后来问过爸爸才恍然大悟。妈妈来到我的房间，摸着我湿漉漉的头，激动的泪水在眼眶中打转。妈妈夸我长大了。我拉着妈妈的手说：“这是我送给你的礼物，母亲节快乐。”
我明白了生活中有许多事勿以善小而不为，送人玫瑰手有余香。
